Confined Space Rescue Technician Certification
This comprehensive training course prepares individuals and teams to meet NFPA 1006 Chapter 7 Job Performance Requirements (JPRs) for Confined Space Rescue at the Technician Level.
Course Overview:
Participants will receive specialized training in responding to Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH) and NON-IDLH confined space rescues. The course covers essential rope rescue techniques for executing rescues in horizontal and vertical spaces, including ground-level and elevated vessels.
Upon completion, students will have met all NFPA 1006 Technician-Level JPRs and be eligible to test for certification to the NFPA 1006 standard. Certification testing is a valuable way to document rescuer and team competency in compliance with OSHA confined space rescue requirements.
